Alert
DANGER: Electrical shock hazard. Do not access the controller compartment because of the high voltage wires connected to the controller. However, if you should remove the controller access cover, be certain to push the emergency power off button in to the off position.
Controller adjustment is performed only by an authorized Sparrow dealer. The controller is adjusted at the factory for moderate performance in acceleration and range.

However, if you know that you will be driving up hills, for example, you may want to have your controller turned up to a higher performance value. Similarly, if you know that you will be driving mostly on level ground, you may want your controller turned down. Less electricity will be used so your driving range increases.

Remember, a new Sparrow consumes more electricity even when not climbing hills, so you'll have less range in the beginning
