The front cover access panel needs to be removed to replace / adjust the headlight assembly. There are four screws attaching the access panel to the Sparrow frame:

  • left/right side of windshield
  • left/right side of headlight
Step 1

Remove each of the screws with a 5/32" allen wrench. Set the panel aside.

Four screws attach the headlight bracket to the headlight assembly;

  • two on top
  • two on the bottom

Remove each screw with a #2 philips head screwdriver

Step 3

Remove the bracket from the assembly.
Step 4

Remove the 3-prong lamp from the headlight assembly.

After installing a new lamp and attaching the bracket, the headlight assembly may require adjustment / alignment. Follow the remaining two steps to complete this procedure.

To adjust the headlight up - turn the top screw clockwise with a #2 philips head screwdriver.

To adjust the headlight down - turn the top screw counterclockwise with a #2 philips head screwdriver

To adjust the headlight right- turn the left screw clockwise with a #2 philips head screwdriver.

To adjust the headlight left - turn the left screw counterclockwise with a #2 philips head screwdriver
